Are Cucumbers Good for Your Eyes?
Cucumbers are very good for dark circles under your eyes but not necessarily for your eyes themselves. They are a fruit and like any fruit this is good for you, but in regard to cucumbers and your eyes, they are best used for dark circles and tired eyes. What you can do is slice a cucumber and place the pieces over your eyes for 20 minutes. Any puffiness or dark circles usually disappear within a few days. It truly is amazing. They make for wonderful eye pads and are cheaper than the eye pads sold at the cosmetic counter. They also can reduce swelling around the eyes. They leave your eyes feeling relaxed and not tired. They are great after a long days work.
