Average Cost of Beer in 2011
Beer prices are determined by various factors, primary among them being the kind of beer and bottle size. On average, a pint of beer in 2011 costs $6 and this may vary greatly also depending on location and tax as well as whether you buy them in cans or bottles. A case of domestic beer may cost around $20. Microbrews and imports may cost $10, while types such as Bud and Miller are available for as low as $4. Porters, Stouts and Ales are considered to go very well with meat and generally preferred with dinner unlike many American microbrews that are good to drink alone.
