Average Cost of Filling a Cavity in 2011
Filling a tooth cavity can be an expensive affair as dental treatment is costly. Most health insurance packages do not cover dental treatments or the ones which do offer dental treatment coverage have limitations. A dental insurance covers only the costs of silver amalgam filling as the others fall in the cosmetic treatment. In 2011 the cost of getting a tooth cavity filled will range from $75 to $250 depending on your choice of material and the dentist. The price may slightly reduce if you need 3 or more teeth filled.
