Hops are used in making beer. With the rise in beer production, the requirement of hops is also increasing. The price has risen at a very high rate in the recent years. In 2011, the price of hops is $25 to $30 per pound. If you are making a large scaled purchase, the cost of one pound will fall as well. Hops modify the original taste of beer to some extent.
