Roofers are construction laborers who build, maintain and repair roofs. They cover roofs of structures with shingles, slate shingles, asphalt, aluminium, wood and other related materials to bind, seal, or insulate portions of structures. They also set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs. A graduation from a high school and sufficient experience in roofing operations provide necessary eligibility to become a roofer. On an average, a roofer earns $30,000 to $35,000 per year.
