A blood spatter analyst or expert is a person who helps deconstruct a crime. Extensive investigation by a skilled blood spatter analyst can determine the entrance and exit points of the perpetrator, their height, weight, and muscular build, and sometimes even contribute to determining their motives. In order to become a blood spatter analyst, an individual needs to pursue a degree in forensic science and may have to attend courses in areas like biology, chemistry, math and physics. A person may also need to attend a medical school in order to gain expertise in this sector to become professionally certified.
