Dingoes are wild Australian dogs, similar to wolves and coyotes. In Australia, they are considered vermin, legal to hunt and exterminate, but illegal to keep as pets. Dingoes are legal in certain other countries, but they are fairly aggressive, killing livestock and other animals if not properly trained and domesticated by a breeder. Dingoes have even been known to kill children, so be careful if you are considering keeping one as a pet. Dingo breeders are the place to go for purchase of them as pets.
