Does Viagra Expire?

If you use Viagra or are considering its use you may be wondering, does Viagra expire? Viagra does not so much expire as it does degrade over time. Like most prescription drugs, Viagra is good up until about a year after production and starts to lose potency after that point. Viagra should probably not be taken much more than a year after the prescription is filled, although there is no hard evidence that suggests any serious negative effects of doing so. Consult with a doctor before taking Viagra that you think may have expired.
