How Much Does An Episcopalian Priest Make Per Year? Average Episcopal Priest Salary
Episcopalian priests are fairly well-paid, earning in the range of $45,000 to $50,000 annually. They also enjoy house allowance or use of a church-owned rectory. They work full-time or as part-timers and their salaries vary depending on the diocese where they serve. Episcopalian is a bishop or clergyman having spiritual and administrative authority. They are also appointed as the head in Christian churches to oversee priests or ministers. Becoming an Episcopal priest is different from becoming a Catholic priest, pastor or minister in any other Protestant denomination. Episcopalian priests may be male or female and can lead a married life. Small churches can afford only a part-time rector.
