How Much Does a Bond Trader Make Per Year? Average Bond Trader Salary
Employment opportunities are excellent for bond trader jobs and their growth rate is projected to remain way ahead of the average for most other occupations. A bond trader earns $75,000 per year. However, cities such as New York ($96,000), Charlotte ($84,000), Chicago ($77,000), Atlanta ($76,000) and Boston ($78,000) offer more than the national average for this profession. Salaries vary substantially because most of bond traders work on commission. Bond traders facilitate buying and selling of fixed income instruments such as corporation and government bonds.
