How Much Does a Pilot in Canada Make Per Year? Average Pilot in Canada Salary?
Unlike America, Asia and parts of Europe, pilots in Canada do not start out flying for a major airline. In fact, they have to strive hard after obtaining a license to serve airlines such as West Jet or Air Canada. They mostly begin working as flight instructors. The income of a pilot in Canada mainly depends on the experience he possesses. After gaining license, normally it takes about 5 to 10 years for a pilot to make it to the airlines. This again depends on the size and economy of the airline. In Canada, there are four types of licenses, namely recreational pilot license, private pilot’s license, commercial pilot’s license and airline transport pilot’s license.
