How To Become a Concept Artist: Education Requirements
A concept artist is designs special effects, animation and visual images using drawings, graphic software or models. Concept artists mostly work as freelancers and rely more on technical skills than formal education to build a strong career. They are usually well versed in graphics, illustrations and 3-D computer modeling software. However, a degree from an art school may help to fine tune their abilities to develop their professional skills in conceptual art. They require a perfect understanding of architecture and design in addition to widespread knowledge in film theory to emerge successful.
