How To Become an Accountant
A bachelor’s degree in accounting is the minimum education required to become an accountant. However, the need for a master’s degree in accounting or business administration may be felt to gain certain specific positions. Professional certification and state licensing are also necessary to develop an accounting career. Specific job duties vary among public accounting, government accounting and management accounting. Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) are also referred to as external auditors, who continue to learn new courses to keep pace with the changes and challenges encountered in accounting job.
