How To Become an Anesthesiologist
Laws relating to educational requirements of an anesthesiologist vary from state to state in the US. However, the general requirements are four-year undergraduate schooling followed by another four years in medical school. After this, the student undergoes internship and anesthesiology residency totaling another 8 years altogether. However, in certain states, a medical school graduate can practice medicine even without internship or residency. The job of anesthesiologists is generally in huge demand in any medical facility. They are the ones who administer anesthesia to patients that are referred for surgery and the job cannot be performed by anyone else other than a certified anesthesiologist.
