Working as a logger can be physically demanding work, but overall it is satisfying, pays well, and does not have any restrictive educational requirements whatsoever. For the most part your salary will be determined by two factors: experience and employer. If you have no experience in or working for a relatively small logging company, a salary of about $31,000 is the general norm. Once you have some years under your belt, you can earn the industry average of $36,000 per year. The most successful loggers can earn as much as $44,000 per year or more.
