How much does a Publisher make per Year? Average Publisher Salary

Publishers are individuals who run companies that publish books, textbooks, maps, magazines, etc. To be a publisher generally means an individual is in a position of authority and as such will have an administrative role which sees them hiring and firing staff. The publishing industry is very large and varied. Salaries will depend upon location, the type of publication and its audience, and experience. On average, publishers make a salary of $65,000 per year.
