Immigration attorneys are hired by people to facilitate their entry into the country as well as applying for a green card and, eventually, citizenship. If you have an interest in the law, helping others, and working with people from other cultures, then a career in immigration law might be just the thing for you. Unlike most other paths for lawyers, immigration has little or no competition and conflict throughout daily work; many of its practitioners consider this a nice change.
