Is Rum Sweet?

Rum taste is somewhat similar to vodka. However, many people consider it much more sophisticated. Rum is made of the sugar cane, but it does not have the sweet taste transferred to it. Most kinds of rum are light color liquors, but you can also find dark colored ones. Rum is a very potent drink, so it burns the throat. However, it may have some sweet aftertaste in it.
