Is Swiss Cheese Capitalized?
Swiss cheese is often found capitalized when it comes with the name Swiss. It is the common rule of capitalizing any proper names regardless of being used as adjectives. The grammatical use is sometimes ignored when capitalizing such proper names to give respect to a proper noun such as the place Swiss. The normal rule states it right to use capitalization with nationalities and the same pertains when capitalizing a Swiss cheese that gets its name because it was made in Switzerland.
