Massage Therapist Salary 2011
The job of massage therapists have a great earning potential because of the large selection of clientele that is available. They work full time or part time in massage schools, while many of them try to launch their own schools after gaining a certain amount of experience. A massage therapist usually undergoes about 500 to 600 hours of training, covering different types of massage such as sports and clinical massage. Since the job brings the massage therapist and the customer very close, the former always adopts a friendly approach to keep the clients comfortable. A high school diploma and a license may suffice to become eligible for the job. The annual income of a massage therapist in 2011 is $35,000 to $40,000.
