NFL Player Salary 2011
With preparations already underway for the grand start of the National Football League (NFL) 2011 in September, players, who have performed well in the previous season, are hoping to get fresh contracts and, along with it, an increased pay. An NFL player’s average salary in 2011 is expected to be $900,000. The salaries vary depending upon the popularity and consistency of a player. Most metropolitan areas in the US have an NFL franchise, although Los Angeles, the second largest metropolitan area in the country, has not hosted an NFL team since 1994.
