Radiation Therapist Job Description
The radiation therapist job description is focused upon working with cancer patients and administering radiation treatments. A radiation therapist uses specialized equipment that releases concentrated x-rays to break up cancer tumors or inhibit their growth. Radiation therapists also refer patients to doctors for medication prescriptions and chemotherapy. To become a radiation therapist, a medical degree is not required. Instead you will need to complete a certification course in the use of radiation treatment equipment.
