What is Rum? Ingredients and Uses
Rum is a strong alcoholic liquor is quite popular throughout the world. The vast majority of the world’s rum is produced in the Caribbean islands of North America. Rum is created by distilling fermented sugarcane juice or molasses. Rum has an extremely high alcohol content in a strong, yet sweet flavor. Rum can be consumed in a variety of ways, including straight, with water or ice, and combined with Coca-Cola to create the popular drink known as Rum and Coke.
