What does From Concentrate mean? Definition, Health, and Uses
Anyone who was read a few food labels and grocery stores has probably seen the term “from concentrate” thrown around. But what does it mean? From concentrate simply means that the product is a liquid that has been condensed or concentrated and then brought back up to the normal levels of liquid by adding water. This is often done to save storage space, help with shipping, shelflife, and for other reasons. If you have any concerns about the healthiness of products that are labeled from concentrate then you can probably put them to rest as the majority of studies have shown that products from concentrate do not pose any health risks that the normal, non-concentrate product would itself.
