The term WTS is used quite commonly throughout World of Warcraft and actually in other online games and forums as well. Quite simply, WTS is short for want to sell. It is usually used when trying to sell an item using general chat or trade chat. For example: “WTS copper ore, 5 gold per stack” This means they are trying to sell copper ore for 5 gold pieces per stack of 20 ore.
