What is Amaranth Oil Used For? Health Benefits and Side Effects of Amaranth Oil
Amaranth oil is taken out from the seed amaranth. It consists of non polar lipid compounds. This oil helps in preventing heart diseases, reducing inflammation and curing hypertension. Amaranth oil is also used as natural antioxidant supplement. However, there are some side effects of amaranth oil, as the seeds are planted in nitrogen rich soil, it can adversely affect the nervous system. The patients who have kidney problems, immune disorders or those who are already using many drugs should use amaranth oil very cautiously because it has rich oxalate content.
