What is Ammonium Bicarbonate Used For? Health Benefits and Side Effects of Ammonium Bicarbonate
Ammonium Bicarbonate or commonly known as baking soda is a compound that is formed by passing carbon dioxide through a solution of a normal compound slightly soluble in water. It is used as raising agent in foods. This compound is alkaline therefore it can be swallowed to cure cancer or heart diseases and kill viruses of cold and flu as it turns the body from acidic to alkaline, a state in which these viruses cannot survive. Baking soda can also be taken to cure kidney diseases that will eventually stop need for dialysis. However, this compound is irritating to the skin, eyes and respiratory system.
