What is Paprika? Ingredients and Uses
Paprika is a spicy food flavoring is popular throughout the world. Paprika is created by grinding dried peppers from the species known as Capsicum annuum. This forms a fine, red powder that is used to enhance many foods. Paprika sees use in many countries, but most often in the Middle East. Paprika can be used in Hungarian goulash, curries, breads, and many other dishes. Paprika is available for purchase at many grocery stores and is usually available in a sweet, milder form (created from bell peppers) and in a hot form (created from chili peppers).
