What is Relish? Ingredients and Uses
Relish is a type of chopped pickle that is used throughout the world as a condiment and other culinary uses. Relish is created by a cooking a fruit or vegetable, chopping it, and then pickling it in brine or vinegar. Relish can be used to season sandwiches, hot dogs and sausages, or as an accompaniment for main course dishes. Relish can also be combined with mayonnaise to create tartar sauce.
