Aheylite is a rare phosphate mineral found in Bolivia, occurring as pale blue to pale green triclinic crystal masses. It is a turquoise group mineral that occurs as a late hydrothermal phase. It is associated with variscite, vivianite, wavellite, cassiterite, sphalerite, pyrite and quartz. Aheylite is not radioactive and is named after American geologist Allen V Heyl. It has a molecular weight of 806 gm, comprising aluminum, zinc, iron, phosphorus, hydrogen and oxygen. The images of aheylite are colorless radiating spray of crystals. It is transparent with a density of 2.85 and dull vitreous luster. The rare mineral is usually not sold due to its extreme rarity.
