NASA has revealed its budget for the 2011 Mars Mission. Although many quotes and figures for different components have come out of various departments, the net expenditure on the project officially stands at $533 million. Experts have commented that the price reflects about 30 percent increase in expenses since last year. The laboratory dedicated to similar projects under NASA costs about $2.5 billion. NASA is also planning for advanced level planetary missions to Mars by 2017.
