It was founded by entrepreneur Bill Darden and Charley Woodsby in Lakeland, Florida in 1968 and is aimed at casual dining segment. Red Lobster is famous for a variety of seafood, appetizers and desserts and is billed as “Harbor for Seafood Lovers”. It operates more than 650 restaurants in North America.
