The average cost of living in Poland is quite reasonable. Consumer Price Index for Poland is 47.96, excluding rent. Rental costs are very competitive with the cost of a 3 bedroom apartment in the city at $750. It is cheaper outside the city center and with the cost of a monthly pass for public transport only about $28, commuting is an inexpensive option. Food and utility costs are very affordable. Basic food items at the supermarket range between $1 to $2 each while a while a couple can eat out for about $26. Utilities are slightly less than $86 a month.
