What is the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid Release Date?

The highly-anticipated update to the popular Toyota Prius, the so-called Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid is expected to have a release date in 2010. A firmer release date has not yet been announced, however, rumors suggest that Toyota has been ramping up production of various components, including Lithium Ion battery packs, needed to produce the cars.
