Kenya is an East African country with a population just under 40 million people. Kenya’s 225,000 mi.² of land is bordered by Somalia, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Sudan. Kenya’s capital city is Nairobi and shares borders with both the Indian Ocean and Lake Victoria as bodies of water. Kenya is named after the mountain of the same name which is the second highest on the continent.
