Who is Baal? The Christian Demon Bael/Bhaal

You may have heard numerous references to a person or think known as Baal. But who or what are they? Baal is a demon in the Christian religion. First mentioned in medieval times, Baal is one of the seven princes of hell, along with Mephistopheles and others. Baal is the principal ruler of the eastern regions of hell according to Christian demonology.
