Astronaut Job Description

Astronauts have many duties, including but not limited to; participating in space missions, coordinate missions and undergo intensive training. Astronauts must be knowledgeable with computer systems and navigation, and when grounded, must support the astronauts in space. Astronauts are employed by NASA. This work is very demanding; physically, emotionally and mentally, and can be very stressful. Astronauts can make between $80,000 and $165,000.
