Beautician Job Description

A beautician is an expert of beauty. A beautician, also known as a cosmetologist, works with hair, skin and nails to beautify his or her clients. Beauticians often sell the products they use as well. Some of the duties of a beautician include; administering hair treatments or cuts, spa treatments, nail care or giving tips or hints about beauty care. Beauticians usually work in a salon or spa setting, and usually work weekends and evenings. The average salary for a beautician is $30,000.
