Blood Splatter Analysts examine the bloodstains and blood patterns at a crime scene to help interpret what took place during the crime. Blood Splatter Analysts also prepare reports based on what they conclude, as well as provide expert witness testimony during a trial. Blood splatter analysts are expected to visit crime scenes, so hours are often erratic. Blood splatter analysts can make anywhere from $30,000 to $70,000 a year.
