Cartoonist/Animator Job Description

A cartoonist is someone that draws cartoons or comic strips. Some of the materials they use are; paint, markers, pencils, charcoal or a computer. If one is working freelance, then they would have to find their own jobs as they work from home. Other cartoonists work for ad agencies, magazines, graphic design studios, newspapers and book publishers. Cartoonists can make from $25,000 to $70,000 a year.
