Concept Artist Job Description

A concept artist is an artist who creates visual concepts for games and/or movies. Environments, color schemes, characters and backgrounds are some of the things that a concept artist is responsible for creating. Concept artists typically work in a movie studio or computer gaming environment and often work alongside art directors and graphic designers, among others, as part of a development team. The average salary for a concept artist is roughly $40,000 per annum.
