Dietician Job Description

A dietician helps to guide the diets of those in need of a special dietary plan. Dieticians are able to assess the dietary needs of their client or patient and plan a diet accordingly. Dieticians also help with meal planning on a larger scale, i.e. for food companies, cafeterias and hospitals. Dieticians typically work a 40-hour work week and make between $35,000 and $75,000 a year.
