Forensic Scientist Job Description
The work of a forensic scientist may look glamorous and exciting on TV, but there is a lot of hard work involved too. A forensic scientist is someone who helps investigators and detectives solve crimes and catch suspects by analyzing the crime scene. There are an array of evidence types that the forensic scientist might specialize in. Some might choose to concentrate on DNA evidence, while others may choose to examine fingerprints. Forensic scientists must also write up reports based on their findings.
