Hairdresser Job Description
”Hairdresser” is another term for “hair stylist”. A hairdresser’s job is to cut, style and/or color a client’s hair to the satisfaction of the client. A hairdresser may share their expertise on what the ideal hair style or color is for the client’s face shape and skin tone. A hairdresser may also share tips and hints relating to hair maintenance. Hairdressers must stay up-to-date on new hair trends and techniques. Hairdressers typically work in salons, barbershops or hotels. Weekend and evening work in typical in this profession. Hairdressers make an average of $25,000 to $30,000 a year.
