Opthamologist Job Description
An opthamologist is someone who diagnoses and treats disorders and problems relating to the eye. A few of the duties performed by opthamologists include; prescribing medicine, diagnosing disorders, and performing surgery. Opthamologists typically work in clinics, private practices or hospitals. Opthamologists can make anywhere from $70,000 to $200,000 a year, depending on the location of their work (for example, those working in a private practice will usually earn more).
