Professional Dancer Job Description
A person often becomes a dancer because it is an art form that they are passionate about. Dancers must practice their craft for years before reaching a professional level. Some of the aspects of this job include; auditioning for projects or roles, learning new dances, acting or singing if the role demands it, and practicing often. Dancers are usually employed by theatre or ballet companies, or TV and film studios. Dancers can make anywhere from $15,000 to $60,000 per year.
