Students usually study a great deal before taking the GED test. The classes to prepare for the test are usually free and held by a community organization or school. For the actual test, though, a fee is charged. The test comprises of five individual tests. The fee to take all five tests is $50. If you do not pass one (or more) of the tests than the charge to retake them is $10 per test.
